Honey Lemon Sore Throat Pops

Hi friends!

Who has been battling the sickies this winter? We've been lucky and haven't been hit with anything too hard, but have definitely had our fair share of snotty noses. Abbey had a sore throat a couple weeks ago, which got me thinking. Cough drops aren't a great option at her age, and she would probably hate most of them anyway. I wanted something that would help her throat, and be a treat to help her mood, too! These are just perfect.

Now, this recipe would be just fine brewed as a hot drink. Actually, it would be delicious as a hot drink, and honestly, Abbey probably would have taken it that way. There is something much more fun about a popsicle, though, isn't there? Something to make the sickies not feel so bad.

Throat Coat tea is amazing. Have you ever had it? I get Lemon Echinacea, but Yogi has a great one as well. I went with the Lemon Echinacea flavor because I knew I wanted that lemon flavor, but the regular is just as good. Honey, lemon and cinnamon all have antiseptic qualities, plus cinnamon is also an anti-inflamatory. That should definitely help that sore throat!
